Valve Spings taking their seats
On stock valved LT1:
If I'm going to be using Manley 221428 valve springs spec'd at: 1.311" O.D., and .885" I.D. on the bottom side,
can I SAFELY use Comp Cams seats 4705-16 spec'd at: .570” locater I.D., 1.300” locater O.D., .875” spring I.D.?
The spring is .011" (0.28mm) wider than the locater itself,
The spring thickness is .426" (10.82mm)
Should I switch to a different seat or will I be ok?

Cool, thanks for the response. I'm curious about when to draw the line on springs and seats. These beehive springs aren't that high of rates (150#@1.8" and 355#@1.2") and the seats are made of steel .06" thick, so for this application i was thinking it is doable. But I like being on the safe side of things. Is there any downside towards this match?
