valve question...

long story short, i bent some valves due to a timing set failure (brand new GM unit) the car was already equipt with manley race series valves, i ordered new valves from manley and i ordered the wrong set, they are the right dimensions just the wrong series (the narowed part under the valve face is narrower longer on the race series) so i ordered the correct valves and had them installed well i was dumb and didnt pull both heads, and theres 2 slightly bent valves on the other head now, so we pulled it off. now will the valves i misordered be harmful to the motor? the only differance is the machined part under the valve face. sorry if this is confusing but if i can use these my car will be up and running tomarow if not i have to wait for new valves.
