ok I started to adjust my valves with engine off and i was pretty sure I was in TDC. so I adjusted the ones i was supposed to and then turned 360 and stared to do those and then felt the ones I done before and they are very loose is that normal. or did I not have it in TDC after all. is there a better way to get it in TDC then placing a pen in the number 1 spark plug hole and turning the hub intill it comes out. Because its kinda hard to do it this way...

There is a "how to" on valve adjustment on my Tech Page.

You have to know which cylinder TDC you are at to get started.

Ok I found out how to get my car at TDC #1 but I had the car in TDC#6 and started with those intake and exhaust valves first and then turned it and went on to the #1 and now after doing this the car wont start it makes a wierd nosie that i havent heard before. But it make no effort to start, Did I tighten them to much. I was turning the pushrod as i was tightening them and when i couldnt turn the pushrod anymore I then tighened it 3/4 more. Please help

If you started adding preload after you could not turn the pushrod, they are too tight. Zero lash is explained on my website and is before you cannot turn the pushrod.
