valve margin problem

i finally got around to dropping of my engine at extreem horse power today so they can start my 383 build. i also brought them my cylinder heads because they wanted to put them on the flow bench. i had them ported and larger valves put in elsewhere. well the problem is that they found out that the valve margins are too large. not a big deal to fix and they offered to redo the five angle valve job for half price but it really burns me up that it was not done right in the first place. i called the shop that did the heads which is about 50 miles away and they said they would redo it for free if there was a problem. i dont know if i should trust them at this point. shoud i let extreem do it and pay for it or give the orginal shop a chance to make it right?

If your cheap like me you will go the free route but its your call. Unless you have doubt the original shop will mess it up again.

What do you mean by valve margin? If lloyd is offering to fix them for free you might as well give him the benifit of the doubt. Did the shop get a chance to flow the heads yet?
