Valve covers & 1.6 roller rockers

I want to know if there are clearance problems with the 1.6 roller rockers and stock valve covers and if so what to do about it.

Some need clearancing and some don't. It depends on the brand of rocker arms. What do you have?

They are the crane roller rockers. I had to flatten the webbing in the valve covers that support the center bolts to get the valve cover past the rockers but have not adjusted the rockers yet. These are on afr 195 heads.

If you're using comp nsa 1.6 rockers you will have to break each bracket off the cover.

I use some good steel cutters and scissored them off.

Ok, you have cranes, I posted b4 I saw. Just try to put the cover on, if it doesn't fit, cut the brackets off.

Thanks razor but I don't like to cut if I don't have to. By flatening the bottom of the webbing I was able to slip them on. I was wondering about the poly locks hitting the top of the valve cover as some one told me I needed taller valve covers for the rockers. Better to ask a stupid question then to fix an expensive stupid mistake
