I have those valve covers on my 95 Camaro. You will run into a problem with the passenger side valve cover. You'll need to pound down the front of the valve cover where it goes under the alternator.

Re: Valve cover Help???

you could grind the alternator just a smidgen (yes it's a word) where the cover would contact the alt....make room for the cover....dont make room for the alt. it took me 5 minutes for a set of +1/2" GMPP covers.

Good idea id rather grind on the alt then beat up on my valve cover.

Re: Valve cover Help???

thats what i did when i had the taller proform valve covers
only took a little patience and constant fitting to make sure not to over grind it
but worked great

Eric, do you have any pics installed? I have to say I'm interested, although a bit skeptical of appearance with the relief cut.

Re: Valve cover Help???

with that much taken out could you clear tall rockers? i dont think that i had that much room to cut out with my comp pro-mags...

from my memory...i think i had less than 1/2" from the edge of the rocker to the edge of the head...that looks like 1" cut back on those covers.

they have some new covers on ebay i wish i saw...100 shipped and they have the relief for ltx alternator. polished aluminum, chromed and satin aluminum options...of course chrome is more expensive. you'll need to reuse your gaskets or buy new ones though...and you'll need new breather/oil cap.

How are the spark plug wires routed on the motor?
