Valve Clearance

I have a 1995 LT1 T/A and I'm thinkin about a cam but i cant find out what the factory valve to piston clearance is can any one help.


I am also interrested in knowing E.T. gains on any one may have got out of a cam on there LT1

Cool

I've never seen that figure posted for a stock engine. GM says the LT1 is a non-interferance engine so I would imagine there is plenty of clearance with a stock cam.

Hey but I want to go whit something as extreme as a 5.70 lift with plenty of duration to follow. I geuss so much for telling everyone that ask its stock lol and agian lol

You can run a 250/250, .640/.640 112 and not have clearance problems. I think you'll be ok
