v6-lt1 conversion help please

ok my 97 camaro lt1 conversion is 95% complete but i can't get my fuel pump and starter to activate when i turn my key on. Is there some kind of ground wire that i might have overlooked or not hooked up? i looked and i couldn't find any but i could be overlooking it.

is there anything else it could be?

also, it is not absolutely necessary to have a v8 radiator as long as i have the dual fan setup?

pleeeease reply with any suggestions. THANKS

Can you give more details about your swap? I did the swap to mine and had no problems.

I would first check all your fuses both the ones on the side of the dash and in the engine bay.

Did you go from a 5 speed to auto or something like that?

What's the LT1 motor out of? [as in what water pump do you have on it?]
If it's an fbody LT1, where did you hook the radiator 'bypass hose' to['3rd hose' from WP to drivers side of radiator]
V6 radiator doesn't have that, does it?
[Corvette WP, for instance, doesn't have the 'bypass hose']

the lt1 is out of a 95 trans am. i just put a v8 automatic transmission in there where the old auto tranny was. there is nowhere to put the bypass hose on the v6 radiator so i am gonna try to just close it off for now.

thanks for replies

OK if you want a permanent solution[ maybe after you see that it doesn't run hot with the V6 radiator?] try an LT1 vette pump.. [I don't think it has the 'bypass' fitting on it..]
