try replacing the coil, OR the ignition control moduel. If that does not work, hook up a fuel presure test guage to the shrader vavle and see what you are running PSI wise, perhaps your pump is getting weak. But I think its more ignition related and prob the coil if you have 80k on the stocker. What else do you think guys?

My car did something similar a while ago.I believe it was bad gas.Try going to a different place to get your gas. Also run some injector cleaner thru it.Mobil syntec works great.

Sounds ignition related dont you think joeSS97? I mean if it just started 3 weeks ago, I am sure he has filled his tank since then.

well from what i hear the ICM (Ignition Control Moduel) either works or is doesn't. The coil on the other hand starts to fade out with time. So I would go ahead and get a coil, get an MSD blaster coil or something prob will be the same price as stock anyway. That should definitly fix you up, ALSO, when you did new wires on your car, did you ALSO change the coil wire?

I would say get yourself a new coil and/or change the fuel filter. Im doubting the filter but its a cheap easy fix and it should probably be done anyhow with 80K miles on it. If you are interested, I have a MSD blaster coil with about 30min. of use on it. I bought it when I thought maybe my old one was going bad, but it turned out to be bad gas. Anyhow, if your interested in buying that coil from me shoot me an email at wisneski7@yahoo.com. Thanks

Don't start replacing stuff that you aren't sure needs replacing. I would 1st have the fuel pressure tested.

Definately Ignition

My personal problems i have had is with wires..........If it's a burned wire......it will usually run good for a little bit when it's cold engine..........after the engine warms up like 10 minutes it will start missing and you will have a ton less power. I've never had a hard time starting it though.........it would just miss when you drove it.........but then again.....my wire wasn't too bad.....

Check wires!!
