Using a wideband O2: is it ok to stick it in the tailpipe?

Using a wideband O2: is it ok to stick it in the tailpipe?

If I'm not running a catalytic converter? Instead of taking it to a shop to have another bung welded in?

Yes, it will work just fine. I dyno tuned my 93 that way.

yea, but if you have the option, I would shove it in there a bit. Just to make sure that no outside O2 has an affect on it.
