Using a B&M shift improver kit ?
I installed a 4L60 tranny. I want to install a &M shift improver kit to get shifts which are a little bit more crispy, but not too hard. But no I read on this forum that the use of such kits are critical for the tranny because of a too high oil pressure.
Is it ok when I set the TV cable to a low point and only installing the "RV/heavy duty" stage from this kit ?
Who has experiences ?
Thanks for any further infos !

Hi,
From what I've read and been told buy a TRANSGO shift kit for your Camaro. They are the best. The B&M are not nearly as good (so I'm told). I have a B&M and I am not gonna install it. I'm gonna get the TRANSGO instead. Hope this helped.

"Is it ok when I set the TV cable to a low point?" No, do not do this, the TV cable needds to be at max or very near max TV to work right (keep the transmission alive). Only use the Trans-Go Performance Shift kit, along with the Corvette servo and the Trans-Go accumulation setup, and stay away from B&M, unless you like very firm (if not brutal) part throttle 1-2 shifts, along with possibl other problems. If I can be of help, let me know?
ProBuilt, I am getting a Transgo for my 95 Z28. Right now I have custom tuning which have altered my shift firmness and shift points. How many washers should I use with my Transgo? Also, what is the part number for the Corvette servo? Thanks much!
Mike
