using anti-freeze but not leaking
using anti-freeze but not leaking
I had my coolant flushed when I bought the car in September, no biggy. My coolant sensor later went out, so I had it replaced and never thought about it, since the light went out. Well, that was last month and last thursday the low coolant light started to randomly come on when the car heated up, but would go out if I restarted it.
Well, the dealer replaced my power steering pump yesterday so I had them check why the light was comming on and they said it was a bit low and they added fluid and told me to watch it. If my car is loosing coolant but it isn't leaking where is it going?

The only other places it would go is in you oil and/or out your exhaust due to a blown head gasket.
Or possibly you had a trapped air pocket and it burped.

My coolant tank return hose was blocked, and so when the radiator didn't need all the coolant, it would try putting it into the tank, but couldn't, so it would get rid of it through the overflow, or something, and when it needed more, it couldn't take it out of the tank, so it would be low.
That could be your problem. Is your tank always full?
Just my $0.02
