Question URGENT! need some help figuring this one out!

I'am sure someone here has had this problem or has ideas on what this could be. What is happening that while at the track or any situation near WOT the car begins to break-up and looses power around 5500 to 6000rpm. It pulls smooth and hard all the way until it begins to break up. The car has the mods in my sig..
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

the first and easiet thing that i would check would be for leaks after the MAF. if there's no leaks then u need to test fuel and spark next. i would lean towards fuel and i am having the exact same problem right now. it started friday and hopefully i'll have it fixed by this weekend. when is the last time you changed the fuel filter? check fuel pressure, plugs and wires, ignition coil, and pray it's not your opti.

its probably you coil wire. opti is ussaually at low rpm and low load at part throttle

i seriously would doubt it was the opti, that's why i mentioned the air leak and said i would lean more towards fuel delivery.

I have had the same Problem for over a year..It was two things. first the cap and rotor were bad. anything over 30000 miles is about due for a new cap and rotor. Secondly, I was running way to much fuel pressure cause the car to run lean in the upper rpm's. The ECM was cutting back fuel to over compensate for the extra fuel, causing it to run leaner. Since I readjusted the pressure the engine is running normal again.
