Urgent, Can't get opti seal off!!! How do I get it out?

I am in the middle of changing out the opti seal and the damn POS won't come out. Right now I am wedging a screwdriver in their and trying to pull the sucker out. Any ideas or tools autozone, or checkers would have?

Got anything with a bend in it to act as a lever? A brake spoon might work (if you know what brake spoon is -maybe not, if you have never adjusted drum brakes ). There is always the seal puller if you have room to get it in there.

You can also try putting something behind the screwdriver to lean on for leverage. It does not matter if you destroy the seal when getting it out, so you can be a little rough with it. Just don't harm the sealing surface or hole in the timing cover. You could try getting on the edge of the metal part of the seal and hammering inward to cave-in the seal toward the center.

It's easier to knock it out from the back when the cover is off, but you should be able to get it out.

I don't think so, I think you should be fine.
If you thought taking out was fun wait to you put it in.
Just take your time and slowly tape it home.
