When changing out a IAC on a 93Z, to a 94+ style, do you just match up the color codes on the harness? It seems too simple of a plan, but I figured I'd ask for some help please.

to change the IAC to 94+ you have to change TB style as well, correct?

 

No, just the bottom plate. The TB is the same except for the linkage, and bottom plate. Hell I've got 4 TBs 2 for my TPI, and two LT1 93 & 95 years. I'm learning what a bastard the 93 is.

I'm just trying to cheap out on buying a 93 IAC, and using the 95 style that I already have. The $89 will go to someother problem I'll need to fix.

 

Check out shoebox's website (www.shbox.com) he has the wiring schematic for the newer style on there. The colors are the same on the two different wiring schematics, and if you really want the one for the old IAC, email me and I can send it to you tomorrow but it looks identical to the one for the new style IAC.

 

How do I get on board with this set-up? What do I need, and where can I get the pieces?
