Update on cam problem!!!

Well I had been having some cam problems for a while now. I just recently had a compression test done and it showed I had 0 compression on cylinder #1. We thought I may have had a bent or burnt valve. Come to find out the rr's on cylinder one were too tight and wouldnt let the valve close. We got all this fixed and changed the plug on cylinder #1 cause if was fouled out really bad. The car feels alot stronger than it did before considering I was only running off of 7 cylinders. I did notice that going down the road in 6th gear that the car still shakes. Is it possible that the plug wire on #1 is bad too? We only changed the plug!

maybe you are getting some cam surge? i know a burnt wire or bad plug will cause the car to voilently shake at low rpms in a steep gear.

Why was it so tight? If you don't know, maybe some of the other valves are too tight, too.

I dont know why they were put on too tight. Number 1 was the only one keeping the valve from closing though. He reset every single one of the rr's and done another compression test and it was perfect. I just dont know whats causing the shakes in 6th gear.
