unhooked sensor
On the 93 cars the air pump is located on the chassis, under the abs. On the 94 cars it is located on the engine block, under the coil. Right in front of the driver side fan. There should be a hose going to it. Almost looks like a smalled rad. hose. If you just bought the car, the other owner might have deleated the air pump.

I have a pic, not a good one by any means. It is very hard to get in there and take a pic, plus I dont have a digital camera. If anyone wants it just say so and leave your e-mail and I will send it to you.

No, it is not hurting your car. I deleted my air pump also. Just need to make sure you have a good fuse in or you will set off the SES light. The air pump is only used primarily at start up for about 3-5 minutes to help heat up the cat or cats, then it basically becomes useless dead weight until you let the car sit for awhile.
