By slowing it down, and stopping it from cavitating, you also reduce it's propensity to boil the fluid - which is a problem if you road race or drive very aggressively.
Slow down kieth the drag from the pullies isn't that extreme. I've had no problems or differences at all in the steering. The only real problem you'll have with the larger pulleys is if you have an after market stereo system that's pulling awsome watts or something.

That was my whole point. The biggest benefit I saw was slowing down the PS pump. Above 3500rpm with stock pullies, you cavitate the pump which eventually will boil it over (been there, done that). I ended up putting a PS cooler in my car as well, but slowing it down helps too.

Of course, you will only experience this problem during extended high-rpm use, like the Silver State Classic that I run and perhaps some hard road course sessions.

If your car is a daily driver, especially in stop and go traffic, dont put it on. If you only drive on the highway, put it on.

I have one, and hate it because when im sitting still it kills the battery...especially when you have a 1200 watt amp you want to bump from time to time, oh and the air....

I might even take mine off....

No, just get the March kit with the Alt pulley too. I have that kit with no problems. Got around 1200w in my ride too.

Thumbs down

i had one and took it off and have been happy every since. i got sick and tired of having to be jumped off and putting it in neutral in traffic to keep my volts up. the few horses just wasnt worth it to me.
