ok i wanna do a cowl hood or big block hood, the problem is i cant do ram air then.

so ive seen other cars with under body ram air kits like the mustangs and some imports, well ive been searching all over for a kit but i can find one

any body got ideas or sites let me know

 

Cut out the plastic guard underneath your intake filter on by your drivers side wheel....then using aluminum siding as i used, or anything that you can bend and will stay in place, bend into a scoop that can be screwed up from underneath. Easy to do, just gotta find a good material to use.

Go to Home Depot, Loews or the harware store and get a dryer vent. Trim down the through the wall pipe, Cut the plastic gaurd, Slide the vent in and srew it on. A little paint and your done.

First you need to get a CAI. Then make a scoop.

 

Yeah I just used a peice of alumimun flex tubing from a hardware store ran it to the filter. I used zip ties and a screw to hold it in place. It cost $4.50 and cut 3 tenths off and added 1mph.
