I have spent quite a bit of money with Jason and had a couple of problems, but nothing like what the original poster is describing.

Usually if my order is missing something or I am getting impatient for one to arrive I'll just call him and he'll take care of me right away.

You should really try to call and remind him more often then every couple of weeks though. I know, I know, you shouldn't have to call him to remind him at all, but it's what I consider a small price for getting such good deals on parts.

exact same experience for me.

ive ordered from jason 5 or 6 times now and im totally happy.

ive only had one time where he messed up........i ordered on the phone, and after a couple days i didnt see any charges on my card, so i called him and he said "im sorry, i forgot to process it, my mistake, ill ship it overnight to ya."

hes honest, and willing to make up for it........thats fine with me.

you just gotta CALL HIM.......its not hard.

I have delt with him also and have had a few problems like getting a core charge refund on my alternator( took 2 weeks). And I have to admit that the way they package the parts is alittle on the shiotty side. I ordered an opti from him and it came all scrached up and just wrapped in newspaper. I work in a shipping and recieving dept. and we use bubble wrap, peanuts, and foam. I would think they make enough money to use some kind of packing besides the want ads. I just ordered the LT4 timing kit and a water pump from him so lets see how that holds up. Other than that I will still continue to order from him until something drastic happens that makes me change mind.

I have dealt with Jason before as well and didn't have any trouble. I got my parts when he said I would.

Sorry to hear about the problem S.J.S experienced w/ Jason. I have placed several orders w/ him including my Hot Cam kit and an optispark and have been very pleased w/ the customer service; prompt and accurate. While there are no good excuses for poor customer service, there are plausible explanations. I suspect he is kept extremely busy w/ orders from this board due to the significant price reductions he provides. It could be that his order volume become a bit overwhelming at times and he drops the ball on occasion. I'll bet in the grand scheme of things his customer service rating w/ members of this board is quite high.

S.J.S.,
I hope Jason gets your situation resolved ASAP and to your satisfaction! I'm sure he regrets the inconveniences you've experienced from this. Good luck!

Jason gets nothing but thumbs up from me. I have ordered several times and it was fast and cheap. Got an opti recently. Local purchases are not really an option since the dealer wanted $650 for the opti!

Cool

Jason and Dal get a thumbs up. I have deal with Jason and he has got my items to me ASAP. I just wanted to put in my .02. I just wanted to say to the person who started the thread sorry you had a bad experience.

well, i didn't know that, but ummmm.. how come he's not, maybe we can get that chebby dealership (what is it again? Sam Walton?) to kick down some advertising $$, and we could give them lots of business, i mean maybe they could even put together a GP on hotcam kits or something? I think everyone would benifit.

Two quick things:
The dealership is not that big. They are mainly a Cadi dealership. Your local Wal-Mart is probablly bigger that this place.
About two weeks ago, Jason had surgery and was out a couple of days. He is the only one at that dealership, for whatever reason, that handles the internet sales.
Hope it works out for you.

I've dealt with Jason probably 5 times every transaction was perfect. Never found anyone cheaper than him (and he works at a Chevy dealership) and he always gets my stuff here in 3 days. Once I even ordered about 15 misc gaskets and such got every small peice here right away no problems no questions asked.

The guy has saved me well over $1000 on parts. We should be thanking him and his parts dept for selling as cheap as they do, not complaining about one botched order.......

Jason is a very busy man. Most of the time when i call, the line is busy and have to try another 3 or 4 times before it goes through. I've ordered about 5 times from him totaling over $1500 in parts. The only hiccup I've had with him so far is when i ordered some parts for the T56 conversion and it took them a couple of weeks to come in (interior trim pieces have a tendency to take longer than other parts). I called and talked to him and he overnighted the parts to me at no extra charge.

He's not perfect, but he's a lot better than 95% of the dealers out there. Just give it time, he'll make it right. Good man to deal with.

I understand the your problem with Jason. I think it'll be more appropiate for you, if instead of going to his supervisor, and make him look bad, just go and talk to the accounting dept. Jason is not out to rip you off. Sometimes, business have a way of doing business, and usually trying to reverse a transaction just takes time.

I've done business with Jason. Normally, I deal with Dal first, then I'll try Jason if need be.

Im not a big fan of him either...
I ordered something from him and call a week later and he said it shipped out... waited another week, call and he had no record f me, so then he said he would ship it next day free of charge and i ended up getting 5 days later chaged for everything including next day, and he totally messed up my order... i got the wrong opti, wrong bolts wrong studs wrong rear main seal etc....

I use dal now
