Or the M6 car can get a street twin and some slicks.
May not last long, but it'll hang then!!
LMAO!!
I regret that I have to decline on the grounds that my head and cam car is
A: Not back in my possession yet.
B: Would DESTROY my 10 bolt with slicks.
gimme about 5 years to save for a 12 bolt!!

And so the prophecy was written, that on this day, 5 years later, Frmula1, and Fastbird93 would again meet, and battle to the death, to once and for all prove, that....
AUTOS ARE BETTER!!!!

almost all of the m6 people are just there for the "fun to drive" factor of changing gears... whereas autos are better drag racers.... easier to launch, more consistant... faster... (a computer can shift faster than ANY person, no matter how good they are)
and have MUCH more potential with stalls and all... you can knock almost a second off the quarter with NO MODS... just a high stall...
and... how fun is it to drive in traffic with one of those puppies?
i think m6 is winning with people be traditional... rather than practical
I see you're in Detroit. Might want to think about which is better in winter weather, if you plan on driving in it that is.
I've driven my 94 for 9 years in Chicago and it sucks (of course) in snow. Its an automatic.
BTW, manual is more fun. Get a manual.

not exactly, however you can do a "standstill" if thats what you meant. but as far as brake stallin it on a launch, you just hold the clutch and rev it to whatever the CAR desires and launch that m/f.

All too often, its an auto on DRs that spanks an M6 on street tires, and everyone assumes that the auto is inherently faster. Not true. However, the auto WILL give much more repeatable, consistent results at the track. ALso, autos are MUCH easier on the 4th gens weak rear ends. It's pretty much a toss up IMO.

lol no... you can't do it with a stick...
the guy mentioned that you could rev it as much as you wanted and drop the clutch...
but that would be the ****iest launch in history... you would just burnout and go nowhere...

Autos are for people that cant work a clutch properly
My buddy's LS1 Auto against me.. neather pulls on eachother (well havent raced since the CAI or the Pulleys, may be a different story now
) He don't gain and inch shifting.. Stock for Stock a good driver can shift just as good as an auto.. true throw a stall and shift kit in there and ok but stock for stock, M6 all the way!! ..
