Re: uh-oh...while doing a burnout, something broke!

you guys are killing me with the nickname! anyways, i went to the tranny shop (HardShiftTransmissions in Johnstown, OH). He gave me a new TC bolt and it was not the same as the bolt i just found in my dust shield. This bolt reminds me of one of the cam bolts (if i remember correctly, they were 10mm and similar, but maybe i'm wrong.) i don't have a digital camera here at school with me, but if i can get back to the parents house they can post great picture of my mysterious bolt.
Dad has an LT1 out of the car at home he is going to look around the fly wheel and rear of the engine to find a 10mm bolt which could have found it's way into the dust shield We don't have a 4l60e, but we do have a 700R tranny which is suupose to have the same parts, so he is going to look at the pump bolts and see if it could be one of those. i wish i had a camera to help you guys see this bolt but it's pretty chewed up anyways.

Shorts;
You know it could be out of the rear main seal housing. Is the head 10 mm or the bolt body as in threaded part 10 mm?

i don't actually have a 10mm socket to test it with, but i measured the head and it looks like a 10mm head. I'm not sure about the threaded part, it's pretty "skinny", for lack of a better word.

it may actually be one of those 4 rear main seal housing bolts. except, in that picture, all I can see is the bolt head. Does anyone have a picture of the entire bolt?
