Angry Uh oh! Stumble and stall!

I thought my car was sooo ready to hit the track again. I hav 130K miles on my 93Z. The last run I had was a 13.66 @107. Well, my H2O pump was weeping so I replaced it with a CSR. I also changed what ended up being a mismatched set of plugs and replace the stock wires with MSD 8.5's. The car has been GREAT for the last 350 miles of so and then all of a sudden it just died while driving at slow speed. It then happened 2 more times today so it wasn't a fluke. I watched and found that the idle is very irratic. It will speed up and then fall below stock idle without being coaxed. The oil pressure seems to be good as it fluctuates witth the idle speed. I also checked my wires and none seem to be shorted. Furthermore, there is no check engine light.....what can I look at before assuming.....OPTI?

Thanks

either a fouled plug or opti
considering your water pump went out sorta recent, im guessing opti, without a doubt

OK this is what I have found so far.

When I run the engine in the dark my coil does a little fireworks show as does my Opti to coil wire. I know my coil wire shouldnt do that, but is the coil suppose to flash with each spark?
