uh oh, help!!!!

uh oh, help!!!!

this is what happened to a friend of mine, please help him out.

"bad thing
I was doing the TB Bypass and accidently connected it to the tube going into the valve cover and ran it for about 3 min, once i realized this i unhooked it and ran my finger inside the tube and no coolant seemed to have gotten in, please help, could i have really messed up this time?"

he says his coolant reservoir is empty and has "brown sludge" at the bottom

Not sure but I do not thing coolant gets circulated through that tube until the thermostat opens. If it only ran for a few mins then I doubt the themostat opened. Disconnect the hose and start the car when it is cold and see if it flows out.
