Get a Mallory 685. You can pick one up for ~$225, and it has all sorts of nifty features, including boost-retard, selectable retard, two rev limiters, and it's fully digital. It also doesn't need any stupid add-on modules or pills like the MSD's. I've had one for a little over a year and I love it. Be sure to buy the ~$25 harness as well to ease installation.
