My 1995 camaro was running 13.20s at 103.s until madz28 tune now it will only due a best of 13.40s at 102.s and i put the stock tune with hypertech back in the same day and ran a new best of 13.12 at 105.37 but the madz tune wont due any better than a 102 trap. The car has long tubes off road Y 3.73,2400stall cc503 with 1.6rr 58mm tb msd 6a with msd coil and wires with ngk tr55,and hooker cat back ,any one know why im having this problem?

Re: Tuning problems.

What was the 60 foot on both of them? Its a guessing game when it comes to mail orer tunes. If your not satisfied with it. I would send him some data logs. Im sure he can tune better than hypertech.

Re: Tuning problems.

i believe that both of the runs were 1.9 60's this car is very consistant on the 60 ft
and also every time i see it run on the same day it will run near exactly the same times
so its def not the driver

Re: Tuning problems.

It's the tune, I had nothing but problems with the madz28 tune.. with my mods. he wouldn't take the tune back to adj. it, wanted me to get the moates box and make the changes myself. became almost a shouting match between our emails, he made it sound like it was my car and not his "so perfect" tune, well after getting a dynotune he was wrong, so 150.00 dollars wasted on his "crap"... just stating the truth with what happened when dealing with him... personally if you can afford it, I would get a dynotune you will be much happier.

Re: Tuning problems.

there really is no way a person can make you a perfect mail order tune, without running the car and knowing vacuum, fuel trims, wot rich or lean, preferably with a wide band on the car, save the money for a day at the dyno

Re: Tuning problems.

I've heard the same from madz28, "it must be your car because the tune is perfect". I was gonna try PCMforless, but I'm saving for the dynotune instead.

Re: Tuning problems.

I have very simlar setups too (kline454)(gitsum). I have Madz28 tune and it definently helped on my car. I was running high 12's on my tune with lt1edit. I flashed his tune in and ran a 12.000. Almost 11's. I just got some datalog file to send him so he can fine tune it. Some cars just don't like that tune file. The only true way to have it meet your needs is too have it dynotune to your setup. Like stated before.
