tune up

So If I go to my local chevrolet dealer and take in my z28 and say I want a tune up what kind of things am should I be getting them to do? How much would it cost roughly? I'm a bit concerned about what to do with this.

Re: tune up

Plugs, wires, fuel filter, maybe an injector cleaning, oil change, air filter, and I think that's about it. It will cost a lot. I've heard like upwards of $600 or more. The plugs and wires are a pita, and it takes time. If you can do it, I'd recommend it. If not, somone on the board around your area could do it for much less.

Re: tune up

If you do insist on having a shop do it, I personally, would avoid the dealerships high labor rates and go to a neighborhood garage instead.
