tune: can i keep my idle?

okay so i have the mods in my sig, and im thinking about getting a tune. (madZ28) so heres the deal, with my cam the idle sounds nice, a little meaner. anyways the cam surge im not worried about (seems pretty negligable) just the power. so can i keep the factory idle? will this hurt performance at all? and also if the tune moves the idle up wont i loose the lope that i like? thanks

Just tell him to keep the stock Idle speed. The idle speed won't affect performance at all. I'm going to have my idle lowered to 700 RPM's so it has some lope to it in my car.

yeah you can tell Ion where you want your car to idle at and hell program for it. lowering it a bit to sound bad doesnt sound like a bad idea

Ion will set it where you want, but he will also recommend the best idle
for your low speed performance.
