tune

I have asked this before but just thought I'd get some more information from different people.

Is it possible to tune a 94 LT1 auto without knowing the specs of the modifications?

My car has a cam in it, and possibly modified heads as well (I received a set of stock heads/intake with the car)

I don't know what cam nor could the previous owner find out.

any help?

Yea
Put it on the dyno and just have the tuner set it up for the most HP. A/F,timing,etc.

Yes its very possible but a mail order baseline is probably out of the question. Email one of the tuners here from the board and ask them, or find somebody local who knows whats up. Or what i really think you should do is learn to tune yourself and then you can get it perfect. It honestly wasnt as hard to learn to do as i thought it would be. I had a baseline done by Trifecta which was amazingly close, all i had to do was work out a few rough edges.

Yea, I figured the cost of buying all the supplies for tuning would be about as much as a dyno-tune...

I'm really not good with computers and stuff so I don't know, I have the winter to think it over
