TSB for 93-94 temperature gauge!!

I put my car in the shop last week and told them it kept overheating when in actuality, I read a TSB today when I picked my car up saying that the temperature gauge on the dash panel will read 250* (almost red) when the actual temperature is only 226* or 230*, almost 25* error on the gauge.

So for you 93-94 guys' gauges that read 250*, you have nothing to worry about, its more like 230.

Also, you splice a dark green wire and put a 10 ohm resistor in it to make the gauge read correctly. I'll have more info later.

huh, that changes thing, my car will run super cool, below 160 while moving but get right before red if its in heavy traffic. Is there a TSB on the awesome gas gauge? If you realy read the 93 owners manual, Pontiac admits it doesn't work right.
