Trying to set up a group by for the original beehive springs

I posted in the group by section at this link

http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...06#post4665206

I wrote an e-mail to the company and has them how we could set it up I will probably do three there's another guy on one of my other posts that may do 3 or 4 sets with your two cents we should have it but the more we get the cheaper the price may come out to. Post if you're interested at this link I gave the company the link to and told them to check it out and see how many people were interested if we get a bunch maybe they'll even come down but not sure the price is still awesome
thank you Pat

You're talking about the 1218 were trying to get the 1518 which are the same in size but are a lot stronger and rated to 650 lift. And with the group by would be 180 and they last a lot longer to Look at the post you'll see and the original manufacture was pac this is what Lloyd and Brett are using now

From what I understand comp is using American something springs but when I called them to return mine they said the name of theirs were packed something I asked them how could they be pacts if they don't use them anymore the guy said that's their name none who makes them so I think comp made his name for the old spring and is referring to this name I see if you look up pacaloy it says there are comp springs. But pac doesn't make comp's springs anymore since 06 so I think you just bought regular comp beehives from the other manufacture. I'm not sure about this. But when I look up that name it says comp cams Springs you may want to check this out and the 1218 in our group by are only 100 its $80 savings. But most people are going for the 1518 so they can last long and from one insurance. I'm not really sure on this. Just what I see and what I heard from comp

not sure what you are saying here exactly. Are you saying that PAC springs are rebadged comp springs? And what are you talking about when you say that most people are going for the 1518 so they can last long from one insurance?

Comp switched manufactures from Peterson Spring (PAC Racing) in early 2006 to one of our competitors. We made the original 918 despite whatever else is being said.

The PAC-1518 is well worth the extra money IMO.

As for the group buys we may try to do something in the future, but right now we are not able to handle managing that. You could do one completely on your own though. It would take someone collecting the funds, buying 10+ sets through our website and then shipping them out on your own. Also with our store opening sale the springs would be even cheaper .

I do not want to step on anybodies toes and post pricing, but our 5 set and 10 set pricing is on our website.

Lloyd has been using these for the last 6 months now so if anyone needs them let him or I know. Please use e-mails NOT PM!

Lloyd = nighttrain66@msn.com
Bret = bret@bauer-racing.com

WE might be able to setup a GP price but it's not going to be anywhere near $120 a set. Considering that Comp 26918 springs are $185 a set we might be able to offer a one time GP that is lower than that, but not $120.

The nitrited versions (1518) are also VERY good springs that have almost a indefinate life and are worth the extra premimum of almost $100 more a set.
