Trying to remove IAC..Stripped the bolt...

Well i stripped lil hex nut bolt thing that holds the IAC to the TB...what now? Should I remove that bottom plate that has like 7 nuts in it, and clean it that way? Will I be able to clean it up that way? I dont have a Gasket for it, so if I tear it I will jes go get one I guess...

Anyway to get out a freaking stripped hex bolt that small?

OK I just removed the bottom park that holds the IAC..and the gasket cumpled lol....do I have to get this from the dealer? ANyone have a part number?

You need to drill the head off that bolt, then get it out with some vise grips (maybe an easy-out, but it's small), then get another screw.

Chevrolet, Pontiac, or take the good on to a hardware store and maybe get lucky.

I bet the dealer will sell them for about $5.00 to $7.00.

pretty much all the small bolts in the TB try to round out the centers on them. I just used vice grips to grab it and break it loose. Then after that i put anti-seize on them all.
