trying to find a good rev limiter for my 355

355, gm forged crank, scat 4340 i beams, JE 11.2:1 pistons, very good balance. just trying to figure out a good rev limiting point. basically how high can i rev this motor safely?

Depends on the cam and where it stops pulling.Should be able to tell on the dyno or a few strip passes. The CPU has a limiter at 7200 which shuts off the fuel and has no more fuel table so that is the max ya can go without a stand alone CPU.

Throw it on the dyno, find out where your peak hp is at. Then shift 400 rpm above that, and have the rev limiter 200-300 rpm above that.
