Trying to check compression and...no crank
I was trying to check the compresion, so I disconnected all the plugs and the injector harnesses, and installed the compression tester. I turned it over for like two seconds, then cut it off. After this, the car won't crank (at all) and none of the interior accessories work (blower, radio) however, the lights (int & ext) work fine. Based on what is working, the circuit that isnt working is the one that is connected to the ignition switch.
The alternator and serpentine belt are also disconnected. The battery is fully charged.
Any idea what could cause this? Is there some kind of a kill switch if the car doesn't start? Any ideas would be appreciated.
