True Duels
True Duels
Yo
Is it spelled Dual? Or Duel? Anyway...
How hard is it to setup a dual exhaust? I know you need a X pipe instead of a y, but thats where it ends... L0L
I heard that the true duals sound MUCH meaner then the single. So I want to throw that into consideration as well. Anyone here have a set of these? You like it? What did you go with for the catback...
Thanks fellas

I would not say that it's meaner, it's more like stereo
than mono sound. It's more like the 60s-70s muscle
car sound. And loudness depends on mufflers, you
can make it as loud or quiet as you like. The main
downside is that building a complete system that
exits at the rear of the car is expen$ive. If you are
not going to run cats and go with turn downs before
the rear axle it's not expensive at all.

i think it sounds meaner and everyone that has heard mine says its sounds meaner. It doesnt have a "flowmaster" sounds it has a racey sound, i love my duals. i have mine ending right before the rear axle.
I fabricated everything using mandrel bent elbows. Went with an H-pipe for a lower grunt rather than an X-pipe.

Nice looking setup man. Do you have ground clearance issues?

I'm going to Bullets this year though for a different sound.
Also, to add to my above post, don't drive with loose change in the drink holder or stuff like that. Try and keep as many accessories or just "crap" outta your car, cause it will drive you crazy. I can't stand having change in my car, cause it rattles like a ****.

So whats the difference if you end at the rear axle or rear of the car? Just the look or is there a sound difference? Because I REALLY like the sound of the "stock internals, X-pipe, 3" to 2.5" reducer and 12" Flo-Pro Twister mufflers."
When it says stock internals... does that mean no headers? Because if I could have that sound, that would rule... L0L

over the axle with cats will probably add another $400 to
the total cost (assuming cats are $100 each). The ground
clearance over the axle in the stock location is better than
that w/ pipes on both sides. Routing on the drivers side
also puts you in the area of the fuel lines.
More pipe may also be quieter.
