True duals or y pipe with LTs?
Just wondering the pros and cons of both. Power and performance? ground clearnance? Im not worried about emissions so cats do not matter. Also what is the cheapest way to piece together a nice true dual setup? I was thinking LT into X pipe, into bullets.

Its very hard to find info on this.
I've tried, several times.
Duals are more money, but can be better... but there are people running huge HP from a Y into 3" too....
I'm going to dyno my car, open headers, 18" straight pipe on the collector, then a 3" Y, then full exhaust.
should be for next month sometime

Duals can be pretty cheap with longtubes.
A straight pipe from each collector going through some bullets and turndowns would be pretty cheap.
Then again, if you want cats, cutouts, H-pipe or X pipe and you want it to exit the rear instead of dumping in front of the axles. With some nice tips and lots of custom work you can make them rise in price quickly.

Im thinking if i pieced together an X pipe with parts out of summit or something, two bullets, and just dump at the rear right over the axle that would be pretty cheap. I dont need any pretty tips coming out the back.
