true duals quick question
true duals quick question
Alright I did a search but couldn't find an exact answer. Basically I want the quietest possible mufflers to use and still see the gains in a true duals system. Right now I'm running a flowmaster catback and although some people say its not hurting me, im frankly just getting sick of the sound. The reason why I want quiet is because on campus the cops are hardcore about this kind of stuff.
Re: true duals quick question
Put in a Dynomax Ultraflow just like the one in the picture in my sig. If you
want to save some $$, get the aluminized steel instead of stainless. Very,
very quiet.

Look at PN 17515.

Re: true duals quick question
the truth of the matter is, the only benefit of true duals on our cars over a nice cat back in the sound, and you don't want that, so why not just change to a different cat back? Less money, less time, and better ground clearance

pipe section.
As for the HP gain, I dynoed 12 rwhp over a 3" cat back system in a dual
cat car. I'd say that's pretty darn good. Plus my car is really quiet.
