true duals on midlength headers?

anyone do this? if so do you have any pics or advice on it? i can get exhaust work (welding) done cheap so if i get the parts how hard would it be to devise a layout for it. also, anyones opinions on sidepipes before the wheels?

Re: true duals on mid-pipes?

I did it with MAC Mids.

I cut the Y-Pipe before it merged into 1
pipe. This left me with two 2.5in pipes under the passenger
seat. Then I welded 2.5in pipes to those 2 pipes and routed
them to the desired location.

Re: true duals on mid-pipes?

you don't think it would be better to cut off the bolting plate on the collector and just weld pipes to those? i didnt think of using the y-pipe but i would like to try to eliminate those collector bolts, i've always had problems with them on my car. Thanks
