true dual exhuast options...

ok as of right now im runnin duals off the stock manifolds 2.5" all the way out and over the axle, right now it has 3" bullet mufflers cause i made a stupid mistake and the guy that did the exhuast welded em in anyway... anyhow what muffler would sound best with the pacesetter LT headers, i want a deep growl, loud is alright but not required . im really just lookin for a good solid sound maybe just the pacesetters with my current setup will allow for that, but right now at mid-wot its straight pipe because it just bypasses the muffler i guess cause its too much bigger =/ anyway as far a as a muffler would it make a difference to get the correct size dynomax bullet or should i find something else.. and what else is there that has a good flow?

Thrush/Red Hots/Cherry Bombs all the same thing i had a set on my car and they were awesome. Solid deep rumbly tone, a friend of mine had them on his 3.4L and it sounded like an 8.

I like my Flo Pro Twisters. They're basically the same thing as the Moroso Spiral flow muffler. They're a bit quieter than a bullet, especially interior drone, but scream as much as bullets do WOT. I'd also look into Sweet Thunder chambered mufflers. Alot of guys on ls1tech like them. www.sweet-thunder.com

we are running pacesetter LT, 3" pipe Xpipe and dynomax race bullets

this vid was taken when the car was running really rich because of tuning, but you can still hear it well

I just put on pacesetters, 2.5" Xpipe kit, and dynomax bullets and I love the way it sounds. It has a very deep rumble to it and it is not to loud at all, I have no poping when reved and no drone while crusing. Those were the two things I was worried about.

Re: true dual exhuast options...

thanks for the clip, ill get the pacesetters before i go changing mufflers, that sounds awesome, only thing i hate about the way it sounds right now is the pulsiness of the manifolds. love the idle of em as tehy are though, from that clip probly worst case scenario ill swap down to the 2.5" bullets like it should have, who knows maybe i can even sell the 3"ers for a little less than what i gave for em thanks for the clip though it settled my mind for now. oh wait, anyone have a sound clip of the pacesetter LT with single chamber flowmaster? i forgot a friend of mine offered me a set of his for $65 :-p never been put on anything either

Ive got pics in sig. Go with chambered mufflers they sound downright awsome, mean growl, really deep sound and that great rumble. Summit makes them and so does sweet thunder. I got mine from napa ssome time ago and they got them from some corvette place. They are the same type of muffler that gmmg uses.

I let my sister take my car to get some soda the other day and i was standing on my porch...when she drove away it was rumbling and shaking the porch alittle.

CHAMBERED ALL THE WAY.

Re: true dual exhuast options...

how much are those sweet thunders from napa? first im gonna see how this works out with bullets and pacesetters, but if i can get the sweet thunder mufflers at napa ill go with those if i still dont like the sound. only reason i shunned away from them is i hate ordering stuff online, always had bad experiences with it =/ like once i ordered an ultra-z hood for my car from lmp.. still havent heard anything back on it. ohh well thanks for the info, nice to know i can get sweet thunders at a shop!
