Bassani makes a kit that bolts up to the stock manifolds and runs out the back.

LMPerformance still has a few in stock for dual cats and single cats. I've contacted them about it a week ago. The kit is unique, because it comes with different tailpipe assemblies. With an exit on drivers and passengers, or 2OTL. With 3'' chrome bassani skull engraved tips. The thing I don't know much about is how good the mufflers flow.

I'm really considering it, because you could fab it up to work with headers with not a whole lot of work.

No, they won't add a lot of power. Duals are mostly for sound & style, as opposed to performance. (Roxy's car sounds great.) If you want duals, I bet you can have them fabbed for well under a grand, including mufflers.

BTW: I hate online sales with no pictures, and that LMP $1k exhaust system is a good example. I might think about it, if I could at least see what it comes with! Pretty tough to consider compatibility of mods (DS loop, brace) without some idea of the configuration.

Always the option of having a custom TD setup made up. There have been some people on here that have gone that route and did so at an affordable rate.

Personally, if you want to have true duals. The easiest way to do it is get a universal x-pipe kit, bullet mufflers (borla xr1 etc.), and some turn-downs and dump in at the rear axle. You can try to have someone fab a TD system over the axle, but you're going to have other issues, like re-routing fuel line etc.

True duals aren't going give you a whoppin' amount of HP over a catback, that is why if it were me I'd get a decent catback with some cutouts and call it a day.

And...JP95ZM6

there is a guy that posts here sometime that has the Bassani, if you do a forum search here he has pictures of everything that comes in the LMperformance package. I'll see if I can't dig it up here in awhile. It is a nice system, but not very cost friendly

I had my true duals fabricated all custom and it came out great. Just buy a Summit or Jegs universal X-pipe kit, two mufflers of your choice (I used Sweet Thunder Chambered), and a pair of turn downs. Take the parts and a printed picture from the internet down to a good muffler shop and have them weld everything together.

Take a picture from this website down with you just in case they have any questions:

buy a set of headers for some more power. Grab lt's with any decent exhaust and a pcm tune. That will be good for 30-40hp.
Td's are for saying that you have em, the unique sound, and for motors over 450rwhp. There is alot you could do with a g for power.

I've got the Bassani system, and while not cost-friendly, it does sound pretty cool IMO, and I picked up a few horses on the dyno with it over my Borla. Fit is okay - I had the actual prototype, so it did require some work.
