Question Tricking the comp about ASR??????

Ive been trying to figure out ways to remove my ASR while still retaining my ABS. I have asked before and to no avail for the most part. I have an OBD-II car, with ASR, and really want to remove it. The standard response is, just unplug it and get a new throttle and cruise cable. That doest work with OBD-II cars at all. It is my understanding that OBD-II cars use a different style ABS pump so simply removing it will cause the ABS to be inoperative. I know there was an attempt a while ago at buying a new ABS pump and some other stuff to try to work it out, but havent heard anything with that. But i was thinking the other day, and what if I somehow used a resistor in the wiring for the ASR to simulate the ASR module still being there? Could that trick the computer into thinking it was still there???

Pull the B relay under the hood no more ASR. Also you keep the ABS.

Yeah, I turn it off most of the time also, but my main reason for getting rid of it is because it looks so ugly under the hood. And Cnadian camaro, have you yourself pulled the b relay and done this and then actually removed the actual ASR box off the engine and still retained ABS?
