Trickflow/CRT

Looking for a replacement for the inlet elbow(torn) and found these two. CRT is cheaper($50.00) and has the clamps, etc, the Trickflow polymer ($80.00) is higher and the clamps, etc run another $40.00. Kinda worried about heat soak with the CRT.Who runs one and are my worries justified. Thanks

yes. those are the aluminum versions that come with the clamp, etc. The polymer was the one I was looking at, but it doesn't include the parts. If alum. wasn't a problem the CRT would be the cheaper way to go.

EXACT same concern

I put the CRT elbow on my car when my rubber one crapped out.

I now have a slight stumble at idle when the car is warmed up and I'm at a stop.

I think it is heat soak and the sensor there???

Could move the sensor I guess... (based on something i read on injuneer's site), but I'm not sure.

I'd get a rubber elbow if I were you.. (or me for that matter )

Thanks. That's what I kind of figured.Guess I'll bite the bullet and get the Trickflow and pay extra for the clamps, etc.

The ceramic has the parts, would that stop the heat soak?
