trick flow genx 195 heads vs ported stock heads??
My machine shop suggested genx195 heads vs porting out my stock heads. I'm doing a 383 build on my supercharged lt1.. what you think?
Here's the specs on the trick flow: 62cc chambers, 195cc intake/75cc exhaust

Id go llyod elliot(the route i should have went) i think his cost maybe less---or afr if you can afford a little more--guy i work w has the trickflow topend kit and was not happy w his results--LE is the way to go imo
Re: trick flow genx 195 heads vs ported stock heads??
Yeah, I was thinking too other option is getting the trickflow heads since they are 62cc chambers vs 54cc on the stock ones, and getting the intake runner ported above the 195cc that it comes.. above 200 would be nice. also have the exhaust runner ported on the trickflows. Or have stock ones ported all the way. Lloyds and ai are options but I have to ship my casts to them. I guess I'll talk to my machine shop tomorrow on more options with my heads.. 195cc trick flow heads are 1000 a pair. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

AI 200cc heads. You might wait a bit and have to ship your heads, but what you get back is the best performing ported stock heads you can buy. I run these heads on my run-of-the-mill 383 and put down the numbers in my sig.
