Trick Flow ceramic elbow questions...

Summit says that the Trick Flow elbow is designed for SLP or similar type airfoils that attach directly to the face of the throttle body. Airfoils that insert into the OEM corrugated air inlet hose will not work with this kit. I don't understand why this elbow is designed to work only for TB's with air foils. Will this elbow work correctly or fit on my BBK 52mm TB? I was planning on ordering this for Christmas, but I want to make sure it will fit on my 52mm TB before I purchahse it. Thanks.

YES it will fit just fine... The lil rubber piece that attaches the elbow to the TB is just a slip fit design so it will work just fine...

Thanks for the info. The way they described it was like it would only work for SLP type air foils which didn't make any sense to me. So thanks for clearing that up.

The elbow will be too long if you are using an SLP cold air kit. I had to cut off about 1-1/2" from the MAF side of the elbow. The best thing about the elbow is that it's super easy to get on. The stock rubber elbow bends and tears all too easily.
