If you're willing to part with the money, I'm confident you'll be happy with it. Good quality stuff.

Thumbs up

Very high quality stuff! I installed one on my buddy's 94. It looks great and sounds good to me. Very clean and not raspy, like most LT1 catbacks.

dad's got one on his 2000 c5. it sounds great if you ask me. pretty tame at idle, but very throaty and aggressive revs. it also has a higher pitch than most exhaust systems i've heard. he has the route66 system, which reportedly gains less hp, but is more reserved in sound. the louder/higher hp model i believe is the prt system.

So all in all its a good exhaust system... because I never hear about it and thats what the car I want has in it. I always hear about SLP dah dah dah... sounds great but that great to hear about that and nothing else. Does the Loudmouth really give that much of a hp gain?

The great cat back debate has been hashed out a MILLION times on this board, flowmaster, b&b, loud mouth, etc. They all flow about the same, so its all in your desired tone. I have a flow master 2 chamber (american thunder) cat back, and with minimal mods, see sig, i plan on dipping into the 12s next year, through the bbk shorty headers and cat back, no cutout. Just my .02, hope this helps, prorac1

You don't hear about it much because it's such an expensive system to buy. The Loudmouth, IMO, is about the best bang-for-the-buck system money can buy. Great power gains, middle-of-the-road price, and it's stainless steel. I think it's the cheapest stainless cat-back on the market, although it's pretty rowdy in the sound dept..

Oh and one more thing. Their customer service is also amazing. My friend that bought it received the s pipe for the 96 and up car, and his is a 95. He called them and they appologized and said "we will send you out a new one right away". He said, "ok, thanks, where do you want me to send the old one back to you at", and the sales person said "keep it, with our appologizes", now thats what service should be like at more places. hahahaha thats sick!! So the exhaust is high quality man i'm psyched!!

I know this is off topic of why I started the thread... but can a Ram Air hood be functional with a Lingenfelter Coldair Intake Charger thing? I forgot what its called, but it goes something like that... :-/ Or is it just one or the other... either way a Ram Air hood is going on my car... Warbird all the way baby!!
