trans am worth it?

I was wondering if it’s worth me buying a 95 black trans am 6 speed, with 175k for 1500. The car has very minor damage and seems to run fine. What should I look for to decide if it’s a good buy or not. I have a 95 black 5.7 modded camaro that I don't want to drive in the winter because I really do not want to damage it with all the salt up here. Plus it’s almost in show condition.

If it runs and and the body is pretty straight and no accidents of any kind, I'd jump on it. Imagine all the money you save. With all that money you save, you could make a sweet machine. (Stroker comes to mind )

Even if it didn't run and the body was in good shape and all together, I'd still jump on it.

But you did say you needed a daily driver, hmmm Truefully, it's a 50/50 chance. It depends how long your going to use it as a daily driver and how that engine was taken care for all them years.

Even with light cosmetic damage, that thing could be parted out for a ton more if the engine is in good shape. Go for it, I would.

Buy it. Rebuild it into a 383 monster. Get nitrous. Race people. Win.

i think its worth it as long as no leaks etc. 175k is pretty darn high but ive seen quite a few hit the 200-250k mark

I'd jump on it. If I had a chancew between a 1988 Escort or a TA as a winter car, I'd get the TA. Imagine how much fun you could have

With a good set of studded winter tires they are pretty good.
