tranny temp gauge

tranny temp gauge

i wanna install a tranny temp gauge after i get it rebuilt. im thinking of going with the autometer cobalt gauge. do any of you guys know how to install it? whats the best to install it to get accurate readings?

I put mine in the tranny. On the drivers side about half way up theres a plug. Just take it out and put in the sensor.

I've got the Autometer Phantom Tranny gauge and like it. There's not much to installing it. Just hook up the wires to run the light and screw the sending unit in here.

It'll screw right in there. After that you're all set.

Make sure to protect the wire in a wire loom and tuck it away from the exhaust.
