the tranny is slipping when it does what??

the tranny is slipping when it does what??

i have no idea how to tell if my tranny is slipping or not....somebody please explain to me....thanks

btw, i dont think my tranny is shifting right, it's kinda bog down for a split second when shifting from 2nd to 3rd.....is this slipping??

it does not shift hard at all even though i put transgo shift kit in there.....

please give me your advice/opinion...thanks

Im having a similar problem too, i just wasnt sure how to explain it, but that will do... although it does shift hard... I'm not exactly sure whats been done to the trans though i have to get in contact with the previous owner but he wont answer my calls

When a tranny slips you'll know. It's exactly like it sounds. When shifting the stranny will "slide" into gear. Not shift hard and kinda like rev as it slides into gear. That's the best I can explain it.

hmmm, kinda rev a little as it slides? well, i can feel mine is shifting, not slipping....i guess mine is ok....

any other opinion??

When mine started to go, when I stomped it from a roll, it would seem like it downshifted twice before finding the right gear. Also, on the 1-2 shift, it would bounce off the rev limiter instead of shifting at the point it was programmed to.

if you floor it (like from 1st gear from stop) and when it shifts into 2nd, it will hit ur rev limiter...
