I am stuck on what to do and I am hoping you guys can help me out. My tranny is starting to leak and the shift into overdrive is a soft as a down pillow. So it's time for a new tranny. My question is how much would switching my car over to a T56 be as compared to getting a new auto with a new torque converter. So if anybody has done this switch I would greatly appreciate any feedback, like what problems might happen with the switch and if it would be just cheaper/easier to keep the car an auto. Also if there are other problems such as the cars computer and what other parts I may need besides the tranny pedals and console pieces. Thanks for taking the time to read my post guys.

 

Dont take this the wrong way, but someone just made a post down the page from yours about the same topic. doing a search will get you alot of information on this, doing a search is almost always gonna get you something useful

 

Thanks for the heads up on the other post cheicken screamer. I think that post was enough to persuade me to stick with my automatic.
