My car has been acting weird lately. Took into the shop after rpms winding up on there own. Going about 45 mphs, my rpms are normally at about 2200. They then rise to about 2700 and fall back down after about 5 seconds. Popped a code and had it checked. It say transmission components slipping. Taking it the shop first thing in the morning, but decided to get the guru's take on it first. Thanks for any help, greatly, greatly appreciated.

 

yup, its def. slipping. more then likely, the 3-4 clutch pack is worn badly. there's other poss. problems though. let us know how it goes. also, now that its out, you should consider installing some nice race clutch packs and kevlar band at least. just a thought.
